The Brief
The Hand Foundation is a family foundation in the San Francisco Bay Area, founded in 2003 by a prominent high-tech couple as part of their legacy: Noosheen Hashemi, angel investor and former VP at Oracle, and Zod Nazem, angel investor and early CTO at Yahoo! After 10 years in business, it had envolved as a business, but their brand was stagnant. Humanifesto Studios launched a complete rebrand, delivered a brand narrative, modernized their brand look-and-feel (including typeface, color palette, logo, and photography), and delivered a fresh new website and newsletter using responsive design. I was so fortunate to work with Stacey at Humanifesto and Noosheen at The Hand Foundation to delivery a beautiful designed, custom-programmed, responsive website.
What I Did
I worked closely with Stacey at Humanifesto Studios in developing a new website for The Hand Foundation. I already had a logo and style guide, provided by Humanifesto, which I then translated to a custom designed and developed website. When I say custom, I mean no templates or no third-party platforms. This website is all hand-coded, with a custom javascript animation, as well as a custom open-source content management system. This website certainly showcases my coding skills at their finest. It was such a pleasure collaborating with Humanifesto on developing the rebranding of this wonderful philanthropic brand.
