The owner of Reservoir Erin contacted me at the end of last winter to discuss on-going fashion photography for her social media account. Then all of a sudden, the pandemic hit. Shops were closed. Work was put on hold. Finally, work began to open up again and we booked our first shoot in September 2020, one of hopefully many to come.
What I Did
Working with models in a pandemic is tricky. Quarantines and health checks. Social distancing getting compromised and masks at all times, except the models. Luckily, we connected and found a few who were poised for the job and ready for outdoor shoots! Of course, the day we scheduled for the shoot was in the mid-80’s and everyone was wearing cozy fall clothes! With lots of blotting paper and frequent make-up touch-ups, we made magic happen.
